Netflix will soon have an epic fantasy-drama Cursed. It brings 13 Reasons Why actress Katherine Langford on board. Details regarding the plot and cast are also revealed.
The most critical problem that the entertainment sectors are currently facing is having to write off the rest of the year. Businesses under this industry are left with only two choices – postpone upcoming release or completely cancel it. For these companies, this is a really hard pill to swallow.
Thus, giants in the industry continue to tweak their schedules in an attempt to salvage the rest of the year. This includes large film companies like Disney, Warner Bros, and Sony. However, Netflix seems to be the only network immune to the current situation
Netflix assured its subscribers that it will not fall short of new shows or films in the midst of the pandemic. With that announcement, comes a list of show dropping in the platform for the rest of the year. One of these upcoming titles is Cursed.
Cursed release date and pot

Cursed is based on the New York Times bestselling book of the same title. It is a re-imagination of the Arthurian legend starring 13 Reasons Why actress Katherine Langford as the sword-swinging hero. The story unfurls through the eyes of Langford’s Nimue.
She is a young woman with a mysterious gift and is destined to become the powerful Lady of the Lake. After the death of her mother, Nimue enlists the help of Arthur, a young mercernary to ascend the throne of Camelot, on her quest. Together, they will deliver an ancient and powerful sword to Merlin the Wizard.
In addition to that, Netflix revealed,
“Cursed is a coming-of-age story whose themes are familiar to our own time. The obliteration of the natural world, religious terror, senseless war, and finding the courage to lead in the face of the impossible.”
More about the series
Devon Terrell (Arthur), Gustaf Skarsgard (Merlin), Daniel Sharman, Sebastian Armesto, Matt Stokoe, Lily Newmark, as well as Peter Mullan will join Katherine Langford on the series.
Moreover, the netwrok confirmed that Cursed will air ten episodes for the first season. This is the typical amount of episodes Netflix orders for Originals. However, there’s no confirmation on the run times for episodes of Cursed.
Cursed is a full Netflix Original, therefore, all regions with access to Netflix will receive the series.
