13 Reasons Why season 4 will be on Netflix soon. It will be the last season for the popular teen series.
Fans feel eager to finally watch the upcoming debut of 13 Reasons Why season 4. In the fourth season of the series, the characters will face their past as they prepare to leave Liberty High School.
The first season of the show dropped on Netflix back in March 2017 and became a huge hit for the streamer. Critical praise went to teen stars Dylan Minnette and Katherine Langford for their performances.
However, the series received a lot of condemnation because of its handling of sensitive issues like suicide. As a result, the second and third seasons did not have the same critical acclaim the first season had.
Showrunner on upcoming season
In a recent interview, showrunner Brian Yorkey spoke out about working on the final season. He described how much he loved working with the show’s cast members.
He further elaborated on the decision to end the story in the fourth season. While filming season two, he said it became clear that the show needed to wrap up within four years. He also teased that the final season’s ten-episode count will eventually make sense to viewers when they watch it.
But at this point, heading into season 4 it was like, “We’ve given them 39 reasons why at least, so I feel like we can say, yes the show is still called 13 Reasons Why, this season is 10 episodes.” It’s the right number, you’ll see that when we get to the end.
Before 13 Reasons Why, Yorkey mainly worked in the theater business. He helped write the rock musical “Next to Normal,” which also tackled mental illness. The musical eventually won multiple Tony Awards and a Pulitzer Prize.

It looks like either Clay (played by Dylan Minnette) or Bryce (Justin Prentice) will be the narrator of the season. It is also possible that Clay will become a therapist at the end as a way for him to help others.
Trailer and release date
The newest trailer of 13 Reasons Why piqued the interest of a lot of fans. It looked like the crimes that the characters have been covering up will finally catch up to them.
The trailer for the new season showed Clay walking into school. According to a report, he eventually saw the words “Monty was framed” spray-painted on a wall. The rest of the clip displayed Clay’s distress over the events of the past seasons.
Netflix will start streaming 13 Reasons Why season 4 on Friday, June 5. The teen series’ previous three seasons are also available on the service.
