Highly reputed industry insider Ming-Chi Kuo has just revealed big news regarding the unannounced iPhone 15 series smartphone.
Yes, the iPhone 13 is already out, and the early concept leaks for iPhone 14 have also created many buzzes. However, the latest speculation about the iPhone 15 will surely excite fanboys even further.
iPhone 15 series: What to expect?
In a recent note, Ming-Chi Kuo revealed that 2023 would prove to be a significant year for Apple. Mentioning the iPhone 15, the insider said that the line-up would have an in-screen Touch ID.
Simply put, Apple may bring back the beloved fingerprint unlocking system. However, it will be embedded under the display if Kuo’s note is anything to go by.
Moreover, the reputed insider also stresses the possibility of an all-screen design on the front.
It implies that iPhone 15 won’t have a notch at all come 2023. Apple has narrowed it slightly in this year’s models without removing it to ensure the Face ID’s presence.
Furthermore, the latest report also claims that the California tech giant will also develop a foldable iPhone. And it will arrive in the year 2024.
Interestingly, there is speculation regarding the third generation of iPhone SE, but with 5G this time. And that it might be an affordable, punch hole camera iPhone as well with a 48MP lens and 6.7-inch display!
Initial reports of an in-screen Touch ID in the next-gen iPhone surfaced in January at the beginning of this year. They also claimed that there would be a new in-screen optical system along with the Face ID.
However, by March, Kuo clarified that the Touch ID wouldn’t make its return in the iPhone 13, as previously rumored.
When it comes to the foldable iPhones, Apple is said to make nearly 20 million of them in 2023. But as per Kuo, they will be ready to be revealed till the fall of 2024.
The 2021 line-up is here now!
Meanwhile, iOS device users and loyal fans can now upgrade their newest iPhone 13 models.
Apple made the latest series available for pre-order last Friday. Buyers will begin receiving their deliveries starting September 24.
iPhone 13 series packs a lot of newly added functionalities, especially in the camera segment.
While the non-Pro siblings now have sensor-shift stabilization, the Pro versions have gained all-new lenses on the back. Also, the high-end variants have a new Cinematic Mode along with the upcoming ProRes feature. Both of them will result in top-class video shooting.
