The Star Wars movie franchise has been around for decades, yet the best Star Wars PC games continue to be a heated debate until now.
Star Wars is undoubtedly a huge pop culture icon. LucasArts, the game development arm of Star Wars creator Lucasfilm, went ahead and created video games to strengthen the franchise on other media.
Several Star Wars games have been released since the first trilogy came out. LucasArts came out with a slew of memorable tiles: some are not so great, while others are considered classics.
Among the games released decades ago, some are still worth playing. Here are the top four titles that are fit to be part of the best Star Wars PC games debacle.
1. Knights of the Old Republic

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has been around for more than a decade, but the game is still a must-play game to fully understand the Star Wars universe.
The game sets itself apart by traveling back a thousand years before the events of the movies. This gives the fans a fresh perspective into the franchise.
The movies show that the Jedis are already limited in numbers. That is not the case in this game. The player sets out into an adventure in the time when Jedis are still more than thousands strong.
As the game progresses, the player then discovers the secrets of the Sith. Several notable characters are also encountered and a full backstory is provided as well.
This role-playing game (RPG) is not suited to be played by someone who just wants to grind and finish the game.
The Knights of the Old Republic is made with lots of stories to tell. As a Star Wars fan, it would be a shame to miss this one, as it is one of the best Star Wars PC games to date.
2. Star Wars: Battlefront 2

The Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is the best modern Star Wars game yet. It has several chapters for the campaign while having a multiplayer co-op as well.
Multiplayer modes are abundant in this game. It has a total of 12 online multiplayer modes, including Supremacy, wherein a team of 20 players battle against one another.
The Heroes vs. Villains mode involves all the major characters on the Battlefront 2 game. Several of these modes are only available for a limited time, though.
The single-player modes include Instant Action, Custom Arcade, and Battle scenarios.
Despite the game’s success, however, the game is plagued with criticism due to its loot boxes. These loots give other players a huge advantage over other players. Hence, some of them call it the “pay-to-win” system.
Star Wars: Battlefront 2 admittedly has its own downsides, but the great storyline and online multiplayer system bring it to the top of this list.
3. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order

It is without a doubt that the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has stunning graphics due to how recent it came out.
However, it falls short in terms of its story. It feels like the game tries too hard to retell the story of Luke Skywalker in a different character.
With that being said, the Fallen Order follows the story of Cal Kestis in a timeline set before the original trilogy films.
The gameplay is similar to Batman: Arkham Asylum wherein the player fights with his own custom lightsaber. Once the story progresses, Kestis unlocks several abilities that allow him to revisit inaccessible levels before.
All in all, Fallen Order brings back the essence of a single-player Star Wars game. It ticks the right boxes, but the storyline leaves a lot to be desired.
4. Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga

Other Star Wars games tell a different timeline compared to the movies. The Lego Star Wars retell the original and prequel trilogies in a block Lego form.
The Complete Saga follows the story of Star Wars episodes one to six. All known adventures of the main characters were included in the game.
One feature of the game is the two-player co-op mode. This allows two players to carefully take on every mission and fight the galactic empire.
Playing this game is similar to watching all six movies. The only difference is that the players are controllable and the story unfolds through the player’s work.
There is an upcoming Lego Star Wars game called The Skywalker Saga.
Reports have said that this new game will feature the story of all nine films, now that the movie franchise has concluded. The best Star Wars PC games might have a new candidate once this game comes out.
