Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro Max is slated to introduce a whole lot of overhauling in terms of design and camera offerings.
As soon as it was announced, the new iPhone SE quickly becomes the most talked-about iPhone in the Apple-verse. Not only it introduced a new era of lower-cost iPhones in the competition, but it also reiterated the value of nostalgia even in an age when larger phones seem to be the staple.
Less than a week after the 2020 iPhone SE debuted, most eyes are now circling in on Apple’s next mobile sensation – the iPhone 12 series, particularly the top-tier iPhone 12 Pro Max.
Here are six reasons why the iPhone 12 Pro Max will change the game.
Apple is undoubtedly banking on the popularity of its current iPad Pro models as it is mulling to pay homage to them on the upcoming iPhone 12 series. Accordingly, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will launch with flat sides that are similar to the new iPad Pro.
Interestingly, the purported flat design of the iPhone 12 Pro Max should also harken back to the days of the iPhone 4 and iPhone 5.
The largest screen in an iPhone
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is also very well tipped to feature a 6.7-inch display. This is Apple’s most massive screen rendition in the iPhone series.
Currently, the iPhone 11 Pro Max features a 6.5-inch screen size.
Recently, the schematic of the iPhone 12 Pro made rounds online. The renderings revealed Apple’s plan on making the notorious notch smaller. To achieve such a feat, the Cupertino, California-based company plans to squeeze its now-tinier sensors and modules in the iPhone’s TrueDepth camera system.
New iPad Pro’s rear cameras
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is also said to be borrowing some camera and design cues from the newest iPad Pros. While the current iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max feature three sensors on its rectangular rear camera module, the iPhone 12 Pro Max will come with four. The fourth sensor is revealed to be the iPad Pro’s LiDAR sensor, which should bring a whole new game in the mobile camera competition.
A Smart Connector
Based on the leaked CAD render of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple could be introducing a smaller version of the Smart Connector. The new feature will reportedly be placed on the right side of the device.
A new color variant
Apple is also en route to introducing a new color variant in the iPhone 12 Pro Max. As per the latest predictions, the upcoming iPhone will launch with a Navy Blue model. The new color paint job could be replacing the current Midnight Green color.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is scheduled to be announced during the fall season. It will be launched alongside the vanilla 12 Pro and two base iPhone 12 variants.
