The relationship drama over at 90 Day Fiancé is never-ending. Cast members going through a rough patch now are Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar.
According to reports, Hamme is currently enraged with her ex-husband and co-star Umar. The two are famous in the show for having a very complicated relationship.
But now that they are officially over, Hamme wishes she could sue her 20 years younger husband.
Did Hamme try to kill herself?
In an Instagram Live video, Hamme claimed that Umar used her to gain popularity and reach more audience for his music career.
But her main reason for going on a live video was to address a statement that Umar had delivered to the public.
He said that he only agreed to marry Hamme because she threatened to hurt herself. This made Hamme very furious that she had to speak out her side.
“He married me just to be on a TV show that people would recognize his name to sell his music. I tried to work with him, his brothers tried to work with him,” the reality TV series star said.
“He’s posing as what you call a romance scam, which is very illegal in Nigeria. It puts that stigma back onto Nigeria again and that’s what I didn’t want to do.”
She then went on to address the self-harm allegation. She denied thinking of ever committing suicide because of him.
She also mentioned that she is “not a weak woman” and that she has gone through far worse in her past like losing her daughter, mother, grandmother and aunt.
“So for you to tell people that I was going to commit suicide over you, you did me a favor by marrying me? You f*cked up there,” she said.
Was there infidelity in their relationship?
Hamme went on to reveal that not only was Umar guilty of “romance scam” but with infidelity as well.
She claimed that he was unfaithful to her throughout their marriage. She accused him of cheating through text and that he has “done nothing but cheat.”
The American reality star also said that if she was given the chance to fly back to Nigeria, she would press charges on him.
She is currently quarantining in her home in the U.S. due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But she wants him to face legal repercussions for his infidelity.
Apparently, infidelity in Nigeria is no small deal in the country.
“It’s no joke in Nigeria,” Hamme said. “Here we can just file for divorce. In Nigeria, if you’re caught f*cking cheating, they put you in jail for up to seven years, so SojaBoy count your blessings that I’m stuck in the USA.
Will the 90 Day Fiancé stars ever come into a resolution? Followers of the reality show will have to stay tuned.
