The team at Blizzard seems to be working on a new AAA title at the moment. However, it’s not the next Call of Duty entry.
As of now, the unannounced AAA game is expected to be a multiplayer project from Blizzard. Recent job listings by its senior artist John Cox revealed the big news.
He made a tweet in which he shared 16 job roles.

Senior Artist at Blizzard, John Cox, shared his tweet in which he presented the applications’ positions. Plus, he also wrote that developers would work on an “unannounced AAA multiplayer project.” It will be for the consoles and PC.
Some of the job roles showing up on Blizzard’s Career website are for Combat Designer, Level Designer, and Senior System Designer.
The Combat Designer will go into “broad, extensive player experience with FPS and action games, both single-player and online.”
A role for Senior 3D Environment Artist is also on the list. It demands someone who can combine old art aesthetics with “next-gen 3D authoring techniques.”
It’s for creating a different visual textured style for various types of environments.
The listing for the Lead Designer requires a person who “will create epic, memorable worlds.”
Going by the details mentioned above, it’s clear that the AAA game will be an FPS title. And it will have both the online and offline mode, with options of exploring huge locations.
Interestingly, the listing also suggested that an unannounced mobile game might be in the works as well.
