Activision seems to be cracking down on the next-gen AI auto-aim cheat. The software is now looking to work on “any console” using machine learning.
Early this week, anti-cheat group ACPD (Anti-Cheat Police Department) spotlighted a cheat. This AI auto-aim cheat will destroy work as one of the strongest cheats ever. From what it seems, however, Activision is cracking down on it.
New cheat will be “undetectable, unstoppable”
In a series of tweets early this week, ACPD put on the spotlight the upcoming cheating tech. The cheat itself advertises as an “any platform, undetectable, unstoppable full auto-aim, full auto-shots.”
Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the next generation of cheating now available on console, and has been for a while but lately its been becoming more popular and more of a trend, consoles are no longer a safe space to play your games legit anymore pic.twitter.com/iEQzPVFf1h

A cursory reply from ACPD notes that the system will likely use secondary machine inputs. These types are undetectable, as they spoof the input process that humans do. With machine learning, it will only become more efficient.
“Ladies and gentlemen, I present you the next generation of cheating now available on console, and has been for a while but lately its been becoming more popular and more of a trend, consoles are no longer a safe space to play your games legit anymore,” says the post.
“The cheat uses machine learning and sends input to your controller whenever it sees a valid target, this is aim assist but more amplified without you even needing to do anything all you have to do is aim in the general area and the machine will do the work for you.
“Is this detectable? yes, but it will be a pain for the developers to detect this it will certainly not be an easy job to detect these types of cheats, this already exists on PC but now is available in console.”
Activision using copyright to discourage cheat propaganda
So far, the AI auto-aim cheat is discouraging. With many titles filled with cheaters and hackers, from Titanfall to Apex Legends to Call of Duty, another cheat is not the best thing to have.
Activision is now aware of the console cheats and probably are going to make plans to take them down, they started to shut down the YouTube channels that advertise the cheats this is good for the community pic.twitter.com/e6Y2DjCflk

With that said, it seems Activision is aware of the issue. ACPD noted that there are now copyright claims on videos that try to promote the cheat using Call of Duty clips.
“Activision is now aware of the console cheats and probably are going to make plans to take them down, they started to shut down the YouTube channels that advertise the cheats this is good for the community,” ACPD notes in their Twitter.
Activision devs are frustrated with cheaters in their games. Amos Hodges, a creative director for Warzone, is upset for “ruining some of the best work” he ever did. The AI auto-aim cheat is looking destroy that further, and here’s to hoping Activision does its job.
