Another character is now returning to Mission: Impossible 7. Actress Angela Bassett will reprise her role in the next installment.
According to Comicbook, the actress is among those cast members coming back in Mission: Impossible 7. The movie’s shooting is currently going on in Venice.
Other actors like Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames, and Henry Czerny are already in the next part. 2018’s Fallout was a huge blockbuster while receiving critical acclaim as well. It was also called the best action film of all time by several film experts.
Actress Angela interviewed recently and said that she’s in the seventh part, as CIA Director Erika Sloane.
“The real conversation is when, I think they’ve begun filming, or that was the plan, but you know in these trying times, the best-laid plans of mice and men sometimes go awry,” she said.
“But I do have the pages; we’ll just see when I get the ticket to fly and go do my part, but that’s coming up, and I’m really excited about it.”

COVID-19 delaying big productions
The year 2020 has witnessed serious difficulties for many companies with highly-awaited releases. Films like No Time To Die, Wonder Woman 1984, The Batman, Dune, and Black Widow have been postponed to 2021.
Apart from this, the projects still under production faced a huge pause due to COVID-19. A lot of time went without any shooting or filmmaking.
Mission: Impossible 7 faced similar situations as well when several crew members tested positive for the virus. And it forced the makers to change next year’s release date and move it to November. But now that the shooting has resumed, it seems like the project will complete sooner. Fans of this great franchise are waiting to watch Tom Cruise again in his next mission.
