Actress for Lady Dimitrescu of ‘Resident Evil Village’ shows off new photos

The story of Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu is not yet finished, as her actress released a number of images from the game’s photoshoot.

Resident Evil Village became the talk of the town not only because of how good the game was. It also became a topic for everyone due to its powerful villain, Lady Dimitrescu. Now her actress, Helena Mankowska, released a few photos in character.

The photoshoot shows off the actress in all her glory, going in the character’s outfit.

New photos show stunning work with Lady D actress

Alcina Dimitrescu became one of Resident Evil’s more iconic characters in a short time. Even then, it seems it’s only recently that the actors were able to reveal their participation. One of them was Mankowska, who only showed up around May 15.

Earlier this month, Helena showed herself off as the hype for the game was going strong. It also helps that streamers and players alike are enjoying her parts within the game.

“I am so happy that I can finally share with you the news,” Mankowksa posted on Instagram on May 15. “My face was digitally captured some time ago to portray one of the characters from Resident Evil Village.

“I am super excited to be part of this wonderful community, a family that has welcomed me with so many kind words. I promise I will do my best to continue this journey with you.”

Lady Dimitrescu helped build Resident Evil hype

Lady Dimitrescu has created so much hype for Resident Evil Village due to the Maiden promo they did for her. Mankowska was the perfect character for the role, but this is not her first link into the franchise.

Mankowska was the stunt double for Mila Jovovich for her 2019 film Paradise Hills. Jovovich was the protagonist of the Resident Evil cinematic universe, which ran for 14 years. The connection is tenuous at best, but there’s no denying how lady D is.

Back in March, Capcom was confident with how good RE Village was. Lady Dimitrescu became viral both for her unbelievable height and her confident attitude. It also helps that Capcom rode all the virality and connected with the fans.

“Our main ambition for this year, although there’s so much going on at the same time, is to make sure Resident Evil: Village will be the best-performing Resident Evil title, both in terms of quality as well as business,” said Antoine Molant, Capcom’s EMEA marketing director in an interview.

Resident Evil Village has sold 3 million copies so far. Capcom is looking to surpass the 8.5 million units sold by Resident Evil 7 and Lady Dimitrescu was a big help.
