Adam Sandler’s movie ‘Hustle’ gets new cast members

Adam Sandler’s new Netflix movie Hustle got Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, and Robert Duvall for the movie’s cast.

Adam Sandler was a phenomenon of the 90’s and early 2000’s comedy films. He portrayed critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as Billy Madison, The Waterboy, Happy Gilmore, Murder Mystery, 50 first dates. His latest thriller, Uncut Gems, also received widespread positive reviews for his engaging acting.

Adam Sandler owns a production company called Happy Madison, which produced many of his movies. Happy Madison signed a contract with Netflix in 2014 to make six movies for the streaming giant, starring Adam himself.

The company also made The Do-Over, Murder Mystery, Father of the Year, The Ridiculous 6, Sandy Wexler, and The Week Of. Netflix made them a huge success in the platform. Some of the movies became the most-watched content on the platform in many regions. And because of the roaring success, the company renewed its contract with Netflix in January 2020 to make four more films.

Adam Sandler’s Netflix movies are targeted toward audiences who enjoyed his films in the early 2000s but did not wish to go to theaters to watch anymore. The algorithm of Netflix recommends the movies to them, resulting in numerous users watching it.

Adam Sandler and his “Hustle”

Netflix is now in the process of making Adam Sandler’s next movie, Hustle. The movie is based on the sport of Basketball, where Adam plays the role of a scout who discovers an incredibly talented player abroad but has issues from the past. The movie shows his struggle to bring him back to the US without his team’s approval and to prove their talent and love for the sport.

Adam and basketball legend LeBron James serve as producers for this film, while Jeremiah Zagar is the movie Director’s writers are Taylor Materne and Oscar nominee Will Fetters. The cast included NBA player Juancho Hernangomez, Jordan Hull, Maria Botto, Ainhoa Pillet, and sports commentator Kenny Smith.

A new addition to the cast

Recently, the movie got stars Queen Latifah, Robert Duvall, and Ben Foster. Netflix announced this on Twitter on Monday. Queen Latifah may play as Adam’s love interest, by reports. The tweet from Netflix also included images from the movie set, which showed Sandler chilling with the cast.

Roth/Kirschenbaum Films and LeBron James’ production house The Spring Hill company will produce the movie and Happy Madison.
