Adventure Time: Distant Lands is coming very soon. Fans who have been waiting for this will finally get to watch it next week.
Adventure Time: Distant Lands is the comeback that many fans have been waiting for. Since the cartoon series ended in 2018, its followers have been looking forward to the arrival of new episodes.
The fantasy animated TV series is created by Pendleton Ward, who is also behind the hit 2020 adult animated Netflix series Midnight Gospel.
He made the cartoon show for Cartoon Network Studios in 2010 and after a total of 10 seasons, they ended the adventures of main characters Finn (voiced by Jeremy Shada) and his best friend Jake (John DiMaggio), a dog with the magical power to change size and shape at will.
The series finale made fans believed that it was the last of Finn and Jake’s crazy and bizarre escapades in the post-apocalyptic Land of Ooo.
But once the TV special Adventure Time: Distant Lands was announced, many were thrilled to see once again Ward’s work for the series. The title is the collective name for the four-hour-long specials based on the Adventure Time.
When will the new episodes arrive?
According to reports, fans can catch Finn and Jake again beginning June 25, 2020. But instead of watching it on Cartoon Network, it will be available to stream on HBO Max.
As mentioned there will be only a total of four episodes and it will start with the episode titled “BMO.” A four-minute sample of the first episode has been released for fans to get a sneak peek.
The succeeding episodes have no release date yet but the previous source reveals that the second episode is titled “Obsidian” while the third is titled “Wizard City.” The last episode is called “Together Again.”

What to expect in the new episodes?
As seen in the short trailer, the first episode will follow the lovable little robot BMO. The robot is seen strumming the guitar and singing a song until an alien encounter disrupts the moment.
BMO is the titular protagonist in this episode and in the midst of a deadly space emergency, it seems like BMO is the only hero around.
The second episode will feature Marceline and Princess Bubblegum who will be journeying to the Glass Kingdom. Meanwhile, the third episode will follow Peppermint Butler starting over at the beginning.
Fans will get the chance to see the wizard from his days in Wizard School as a student. Lastly, the fourth episode brings back Finn and Jake together again. They will be going on the most important adventure of their lives.
Catch Adventure Time: Distant Lands on June 25 on HBO Max.
