Apple will not announce AirTags at its event on Oct. 13, nor its rumored AirPods Studio over-ear headphones. The tech giant will not release the accessories until March 2021, rumors suggest.
Earlier this month, Apple officially stopped selling rival brands’ earphones and speakers. And the reason behind that is because the Cupertino-giant is preparing to launch its own product lineup – AirPods Studio and AirTags to be exact.
Many netizens are expecting the said products to be released alongside the iPhone 12 on Oct. 13. But that is not happening. Apple will not be launching AirPods Studio headphones or AirTags at Tuesday’s event.
Apple AirPods Studio
As per tipster Jon Prosser, who is accountable for leaks ahead of Apple’s launch of the iPhone 12, the company will be launching a HomePod mini instead of the AirPods Studio. The HomePod mini is likely to be Apple’s return to Google’s NestAudio.
As reported by The Indian Express, Apple’s upcoming over-the-ear headphones won’t feature in Tuesday’s event. Instead, the accessory will be unveiled at the rumored November event.
The much-awaited AirPods studio has been circling the Internet for some quiet time. And according to Apple, like the iPhone 12, production has been delayed for months now.
The AirPods Studio will come in two variants — sports and luxury. The sports model is expected to be used by fitness enthusiasts and commuters. In comparison, the luxury design will feature premium materials like leather and metal. So it’s more about formal or office attire.
As far as the price is concerned, the sport version of AirPods Studio is expected to be $349, and the luxury version is $599. The more classy variant is just $100 less than the iPhone 12 mini’s rumored price. So, it’s up to you whether you want the AirPods Studio or just add a hundred more to have the latest Apple mobile device.
Apple AirTags
I’m told the AirTags delay is due to the COVID situation in the Eastern market.
AirTags are heavily dependent on pinging other iPhones to be accurate.
They’ll still be a successful product launch, but the question is: would they be more successful in March 2021? Probably… https://t.co/P6EzR6fnhw

AirTags is a vital tool to track Apple devices via the Find My App whenever they are stolen or missing a place. It will sport Ultra-Wideband technology, the same as the one in the iPhone 11 series.
These are just small metal discs with silicone on the circle edge. It has the Apple logo in the middle of the flat part. The price of the AirTags is expected to be somewhere between $69 to $99.
AirTags, just like the AirPods Studio, is expected to launch alongside the iPhone 12. Apple fans have been hoping for it since the first day it got rumored. And the fact that it has been delayed for more than a year now.
