Apple won’t be announcing AirTags in next week’s “Hi, Speed” virtual event.
According to leaker Jon Prosser of Front Page Tech, AirTags are not happening for now. Prosser tweeted on his account on Friday and briefed his followers.
In his tweet, he wrote:
“So, about AirTags. This one hurts my heart…I’m being told that Apple has pushed back the announcement and launch of AirTags to March of 2021.”
The highly anticipated Apple event is just around the corner. On Tuesday, October 13, the wait will be over.
AirTags release and future update
As per Jon Prosser, they will now arrive in March 2021. And hopefully, we will see the tiny trackers at that time. And they won’t get delayed further.
But it doesn’t mean that the upcoming Hi, Speed virtual event will be a disappointment. The highlight will be the new iPhone 12 line-up.
Additionally, there’s also the new HomePod Mini under the budget. Yes, that may be a real deal this time.
Rumors and speculations are hinting towards a $100 HomePod Mini. However, it’s about to be seen what the California tech giant says on Tuesday.

iPhone 12 series price details leaked
Leaks are so much inevitable right now. It becomes impossible for Apple to stop every detail from going out loud.
But now, the prices of iPhone 12 models are nearly confirmed. And the credit goes to AppleTrack’s Kang, who recently made them public. Kang is also a leaker who keeps giving out key information on products.
Coming back to the price details, 5.4-inch iPhone 12 Mini will start from $699. It will be available in the range of 64GB to 256GB. Color options include black, white, red, blue, and green.
The 6.1-inch iPhone 12 will be offered from $799. Just like the Mini version, it will have storage options from 64GB to 256GB, with the same colors.
Then comes the 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro, which may come at $999. Colors may include gold, silver, graphite, and blue. And the storage variants will be from 128GB up to 512GB.
At last, the ultimate flagship model, 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max, maybe announced with a tag of $1,099. It will be for the base variant of 128GB, upgradeable up to 512GB. The colors are the same for this one akin to iPhone 12 Pro.
Both the Pro and Pro Max models will also posses the LiDAR sensors for augmented reality. It’s also one of the differentiating factors between the regular and premium versions.
It looks like, despite the non-inclusion of AirTags, the Apple event will turn out surprising. Yes, the prices are reportedly leaked but still, it’s not official yet.
Apple knows how to sell.
