‘Alice in Borderland’ Season 2: Here’s everything you need to know

Alice in Borderland Season 2

Netflix confirmed the coming of Alice in Borderland Season 2. The streaming service dropped a short trailer, hinting at the show’s return.

Alice in Borderland Season 2 will continue its gore scenes, which fans love to see. Once again, they will be taken to the world that Arisu wishes, but make sure you are ready to see a death trap instead of a fun adventure.

The confirmation of the second season’s coming

Indeed, Haro Aso’s manga series’s live-action adaptation is full of deaths, but it is strategically plotted and placed throughout the series.

The show’s theme is a death-game survival setting with several graphic scenes. Although its first season just dropped earlier this month, its second season is already confirmed.

Netflix Japan released a 15-second trailer, showing a game card that, when flipped, showed the number two.

Anyhow, there are no much details about Alice in Borderland Season 2, but viewers can expect it to continue the first installment’s plot.

Returning cast members and other details

According to Epic Dope, the TV series may bear the title like Alice in Wonderland, but this place is no wonderland at all.

With the different story the manga tells, it has received several adaptations, like Daiya No King and Alice on Border Road. It also has adaptations titled Retry.

It also has a three-episode OVA, which was out from October to November 2014. The first, second, and third episodes featured the 12th, 13th, and 14th volumes of the manga.

The first season dropped on Dec. 10 with eight episodes that ran 50 minutes each. Led by Kento Yamazaki and Tao Tsuchiya as Ryohei and Yuzuha, fans would once again see them in Alice in Wonderland Season 2.

The two would reprise their roles, along with other primary cast members. Fans loved Season 1’s star-studded cast, as well as its well-choreographed action scenes and stunning visuals.

The show even earned a high score on Rotten Tomatoes. Directed by the famed filmmaker Shinsuke Sato, it remains to be seen if he will also helm the second season.

Anyhow, Sato is known for other hits like Death Note: Light Up The New World, Kingdom, Bleach, a Death Note miniseries, and more.

As of now, there are no details if Alice in Borderland Season 2 is in the works or in production, per Netflix Life.

The timetable as to when fans can see the series’ return is also yet to be revealed.

So, by the looks of it, fans have to wait for Netflix’s official announcement about Alice in Borderland Season 2’s release date and more.
