Amber Heard shared a photo of her during a protest rally, but many doubted her sincerity in supporting the Black Lives Matter movement.
Amber Heard has gained a lot of critics due to her allegations against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp. The Aquaman star claimed that Depp was abusive and violent. However, a leaked recording showed otherwise. Now, many were questioning her sincerity.
Amber Heard attended a protest rally
Amber Heard shared a photo of her attending a rally on Instagram. In the snap, she looked shocked while looking at something, apparently, the protest.
“Standing in solidarity with those intent on changing a terribly flawed and broken system and for those who are demanding justice in support of countless black and brown lives lost to it,” Heard wrote.
“I stand with all who are participating in this historic moment.”
What went wrong
However, many noticed something odd in Amber Heard’s photo, Komoi reported.
First, she didn’t wear her mask properly because it didn’t cover her nose.
Second, she was with a police officer. However, there was no way to determine from which department he came from because his uniform didn’t indicate it.
The publication also stressed that Trevor Patten commented on her post.
“I’m standing next to you,” he wrote in a now-deleted comment.

Several netizens concluded that he was the same guy who masked as the policeman in Heard’s photo due to his comment. However, at present, his comment was no longer accessible.
Third, there were claims that Heard doesn’t really support the Black Lives Matter movement because she is a racist.
Heard accused of being a racist
Amber Heard wanted to support the black community. However, some accused her of being a racist due to her previous posts on Twitter.
On July 3, 2018, Heard posted about an ICE checkpoint and warned the employers to give their housekeepers and nannies a ride.
“Just heard there’s an ICE checkpoint in hollywood, a few blocks from where I live,” she wrote.
“Everyone better give their housekeepers, nannies and landscapers a ride home tonight…”
ICE agents have one purpose and that’s to deter illegal immigration and smuggling activities. Heard’s post suggested that housekeepers, nannies and landscapers were illegal immigrants.
Heard’s legal battle with Johnny Depp update
Just recently, Amber Heard lost her legal counsel against Johnny Depp’s $50 million defamation case. Roberta Kaplan and more of Heard’s legal counsels decided to withdraw from the legal case.
“The undersigned moves for entry of an order permitting Robert Kaplan, John Quinn, Julie Fink, Davida Brook to withdraw as counsel of record for Defendant Amber Laura Heard,” the legal document read.
Amber Heard hasn’t commented on the allegations that her photo was taken from a staged protest.
