Amber Heard shared a snap of her all smiles on social media. From the look of it, the Aquaman star is having a great time amid her war against Johnn Depp in the courtroom.
Amber Heard shared a photo on Instagram of her sitting on a blanket with a picnic basket behind her. She was out enjoying the sun.
Heard looked fresh in her floral dress. She is holding a book with a highlighter near her. She stares straight at the camera with a genuine smile.
“Winding down into the weekend,” Heard wrote.
Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s separated in 2016. Their divorce was finalized in 2017, with Depp giving Heard $7 million as settlement.
However, their legal battle continues due to Heard’s allegations that her ex-husband was abusive and violent. Depp sued The Sun for calling him “wife-beater.”
The tabloid asked that his libel case be dismissed because he allegedly withheld the evidence of him taking drugs at the time. Depp denied the allegations.
“I have been open about my challenges with alcoholism and addiction [all] my life,” Depp said.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor also mentioned his drug sessions with his ex-wife.
Depp mentioned that he occasionally took MMDA, magic mushrooms, and cocaine with his then-wife.
The Fantastic Beasts star said they “took drugs together,” but “these were not common occurrences.”
Amber Heard revealed in her court filing in 2016 that she feared for her life when she was with Johnny Depp due to his history of alcohol and drug abuse
“I am extremely afraid of Johnny and for my safety,” Heard said.
“Depending on his interaction with alcohol and drugs. Johnny has a long-held and widely-acknowledged public and private history of drug and alcohol abuse. He has a short fuse. He is often paranoid and his temper is exceptionally scary.”
Meanwhile, Depp insisted that his drug or alcohol use never made him “undertake violence against anyone.”
Johnny Depp’s exes dismissed Amber Heard’s claims. Vanessa Paradis and Winona Ryder said they did not experience what Heard claimed when they were with Depp. In fact, they found him loving and gentle.
“Through all these years I’ve known Johnny to be a kind, attentive, generous, and non-violent person and father,” Paradis said (via Daily Mail). “He was never violent or abusive to me.”
“I cannot wrap my head around (Ms Heard’s) accusations,” Ryder said in her statement. “He was never, never violent towards me. He was never, never abusive at all towards me.”
