Amber Heard, reportedly, demanded money from Johnny Depp before sending him a cryptic text message.
Depp included the final message that Amber Heard sent to him in the court documents that he filed years ago.
“Do this or undue [sic] this as we see fit. You and I have the control. And love each other,” the actress wrote.
In the court documents, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor claimed that Heard demanded money. And when he refused to give it to his ex-wife, Heard accused him of domestic violence.
The Rum Diary star also filed a temporary restraining order against her ex-husband. Depp also talked about Heard’s public appearance wherein she was photographed with a bruise and cut on her face.
Heard claimed that she got the bruise and cut after Depp hit her on the face with a phone.
“Again, this domestic violence allegation was untrue, and Ms. Heard’s purported injury was staged,” Depp said.
Johnny Depp’s text messages to Paul Bettany
Earlier this year, the actor’s text messages to his friend, Paul Bettany were released. In 2013, Depp texted Bettany a cryptic message saying “let’s burn Amber.”
“Let’s drown her before we burn her!!! I will [expletive] her burnt corpse afterward to make sure she is dead,” Depp, allegedly, wrote.
Depp also discussed one of his fights with Amber Heard with Bettany.
“I’m gonna properly stop the booze thing, darling… Drank all night before I picked Amber up to fly to LA, this past Sunday… Ugly, mate… No food for days… powders… half a bottle of whiskey, a thousand red bull and vodkas, pills, 2 bottles of Champers on a plane, and what do you get???… An angry, aggro Injun in a [expletive] blackout, screaming obscenities and insulting any [expletive] who got near… I’m done… I am admittedly too [expletive] in the head to spray my rage at the one I love… For little reason, as well I’m too old to be that guy. But pills are fine!!!” he wrote.
Johnny Depp, Amber Heard lawsuit
Depp’s text messages were presented as part of The Sun’s defense after they claimed that the actor was abusive to his ex-wife. More specifically, The Sun cited an alleged abuse incident between the former couple during a private flight in May 2014.
The Edward Scissorhands actor filed a lawsuit against The Sun, its editor Dan Wootton, and New Groups Newspapers for calling him a wife-beater.
He also filed a $50 million defamation case against Amber Heard two years after her op-ed piece for The Washington Post.
