Amber Heard recently shared a photo of herself riding her horse in her happy place.
On her Instagram account, Amber Heard uploaded the photo with a simple caption.
“My happy place,” she wrote.
In the snap, the Aquaman actress is riding her beautiful horse. She is wearing a grey shirt and jeans. Heard is turning her back towards the camera, but she faces the lens to take the stunning snap.
A day earlier, Heard and her dog posed beside a huge cactus.
“Desert dwellers,” she captioned the photo.
Johnny Depp’s libel case
Heard shared the photo this week amid reports that her drinking and altering of her dogs’ vaccination certificate may be used in Johnny Depp’s libel case.
Justice Nicol ruled that the statements given by Heard’s former personal assistant, Kate James may be used in Depp’s libel case. The actor filed a case against The Sun, its editor Dan Wootton, and the News Group Newspapers (NGN).
James previously alleged that Heard used to drink red wine every night. The former personal assistant also said that Heard altered the vaccination certificates of her dogs so that she could smuggle them into Australia.
In 2014, The Rum Diary star pleaded guilty to falsifying an immigration document to conceal her two dogs in a private jet. Heard avoided jail time under a deal that she would appear in a video and warn those who are breaking Australia’s strict quarantine laws.
Justice Nicol excluded the other parts of James’ statement, including evidence relating to Amber Heard, allegedly, taking drugs. She also said that the actress’ clothing style and the redesigning of her apartment are irrelevant to the case.
Amber Heard, Johnny Depp’s respective lawyers’ statement
Depp’s lawyer, David Sherborne released a statement following the High Court’s ruling.
“The Sun attempted to exclude the truth. But in a case about Amber Heard’s lies and frauds to get what she wants. We are delighted that we will be able to show Heard’s history of lies and frauds to get what she wants. Heard’s own assistant has testified that Heard lied under oath to a foreign court. [She] defrauded Homeland Security, and she has attempted to suborn the perjury of third parties. It is Deja vu all over again in Depp vs The Sun,” he said.
A spokesperson for Heard accused Depp’s team of attempting to introduce irrelevant evidence. The spokesperson said that this is one of the defining characteristics of Depp’s team’s strategy.
