Amber Heard is, allegedly, worried after learning that Johnny Depp is filing another lawsuit against her in the United States.
According to Globe, Amber Heard underestimated her ex-husband. As such, she’s now at her wit’s end following a warning issued by Depp’s legal team.
Amber Heard worried about Johnny Depp’s next move
Depp is, allegedly, keen on filing another case against his ex-wife regardless if he wins his London case.
“She underestimated him and she’s paying the price. She’s a mess. She believes Johnny’s doing this to grind her into the dirt,” the source said.
The insider also claimed that Heard has been crying on her girlfriend Bianca Butti’s shoulder.
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt. Heard isn’t worried about Depp filing another lawsuit against her because the actor already filed a lawsuit before.
The Aquaman star is ready to face her ex-husband in court next year. But it is Depp who is requesting for their defamation trial to be postponed.
Amber Heard slams Johnny Depp for requesting to delay their trial
Depp’s legal team requested the court to move the date of the trial so that he could take part in the filming of Fantastic Beasts 3. Originally, the film was scheduled to film this year. But production was moved due to COVID-19.
Heard’s team countered Depp by saying that he should’ve asked his employer to work out a schedule so that he could still film while attending the trial.
The actress’s legal team also said that if the defamation trial is pushed back, Amber Heard will be unable to take part in the filming for Aquaman 2.
The actress files for a counter lawsuit against her ex-husband
Heard also filed a counter lawsuit against Depp, where she’s requesting him to pay $100 million in damages. The actress also accused her ex-husband of running a smear campaign against her.
“Not content to let the jury decide this lawsuit, Mr. Depp and/or his agents acting on his behalf have orchestrated a false and defamatory smear campaign. [He created] ‘dozens if not hundreds’ [of bots and] ‘social media accounts created specifically for the purpose of targeting her. These accounts are designed to damage Ms. Heard and her livelihood without being directly traceable to Mr. Depp,” her court filing read.
Heard’s recent moves prove that Depp does not threaten her. As such, the tabloid’s claims about Amber Heard cannot possibly be accurate.
