AMD unveiled the graphics card design on Twitter and it looks stunning. The triple-fan design might not be as attractive as Nvidia’s latest GPU but it is an eye-catcher.
The black, red, and silver color scheme is a breath of fresh air from the usual box-looking Radeon cards such as the RX VII. It does look similar to the Nvidia 10-series Founder’s edition though.
The images show that the upcoming graphics card will have an 8-pin connector as opposed to Nvidia’s 12-pin power. This means that no adaptors needed and the standard power supply cables would be enough.
It is without a doubt that the PS5 and the Series X are powerhouse consoles. But reports say that PS5 games will reach 60FPS. There are some developers that will cap their games at 30FPS though.
With Big Navi powering these consoles, it is a shame that gamers cannot witness its true potential in pushing the most FPS it could.
The Big Navi series of chips may perform better in gaming computers with the proper components installed. This removes the FPS cap and allows the GPU to work at its full potential.
The Radeon RX 6000 will be launched this October 28. Potential GPU buyers might hold on a little longer to see how the latest RTX cards fair against Big Navi.
