‘Among Us’ is making its way through PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later this year.
Among Us was not quite the buzz when it was first released in 2017. It took around three years for developers at Innersloth to work through the game and then finally getting their way through the pandemic of 2020.
When the pandemic hit people of the whole world, many countries were starting to impose lockdown as a contingent measure to control the spread of the coronavirus.
But right now, as the world is finally opening up, the demand for the game has fallen to a particularity amount. The critically acclaimed social media deception of Among US is leaving the confines of the PC Platform and tapping its way to a whole new audience right now.
How are the new releases coming?
Developers at Innersloth have said that their game needs to go to a wide variety of better markets so that the demand can be in control again. The game is thus going to be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 later this year.
Among Us offers a fun and a pesky ride for all its players. It is a relatively fun game where all the players have to gather inside a lobby and wait for the game to start to hunt down the imposter through tactical thinking and voting.
The fine folks at Innersloth have said that the game was initially launched as a teeny local, mobile-only game. But by seeing the huge surge and demand of the game, which have grown rapidly from the start of 2020, the developers have a different story on their minds.
But it was lucky for all the developers to be picked up and then played by the high-profile Twitch streamers who have made it famous.
PlayStation will consist of the same features
We also have learned that Among Us is partially based on the game as one of the studio’s co-founders. Like the PC players, Playstation gans will access all the four maps and launches, including the Skeld and Airship.
And to make the game more exciting, Innersloth revealed that there are a lot of updates coming through in the next month. Playstation fans will be able to get the full experience of the game, but they have to wait a little longer as the developers are still working on the same.
The one thing that the developers cannot confirm as of now is the release date, but since everyone is living in the unusual times of COVID-19, they understand that it can be hard to offer long-term ETA.
