Angelina Jolie is beautiful inside and out. She has a beautiful soul, working as a humanitarian, and helping a lot of causes. She also often speaks about the importance of natural and inner beauty. However, if there is one thing that people want to know more about her, aside from her love life, it is her beauty secret.
In an interview with Refinery29 in 2018, the dermatologist of Brad Pitt’s former wife revealed that the actress started caring for her skin at a young age. At the time, she already knew that she wanted to join the entertainment industry, so she started doing something about it.
“She’s always been such a natural beauty, so she didn’t even have to do much,” Rhonda Rand said. “It was really just sunscreen, proper cleansing with a mild, gentle cleanser, antioxidants, sometimes glycolic [acids], and natural products.”
With Angelina Jolie’s natural beauty, she doesn’t need any major scrubs or products with a lot of chemicals to make her beautiful.
In a different interview with InStyle, the Maleficent star revealed that her mom, Marcheline Bertrand, introduced her to Rand when she had her first scar.
“To have somebody who is very encouraging of being as natural as possible has really helped me,” she said about her derma.
Their relationship just shut down all the rumors about Angelina Jolie’s alleged stubborn skin treatment. Now, Rand is taking care of her kids’ skins, too.
Aside from starting her skincare routine young, the award-winning actress only wears makeup when she’s working. “It’s probably another reason her skin looks good,” Rand revealed.
Angelina Jolie also removes her makeup if needs be, and she knows how to do it perfectly. Thankfully, her makeup artist knows and is very careful of what to put on her skin.
Although the Salt star has a hectic schedule, she never skips her beauty routine. Whenever she travels, she takes her skincare regimen with her. She uses alpha hydroxy or antioxidants.
Her favorite is, reportedly, Rand’s own Dermbasics RR Perfection cream, a chemical-free antioxidant sunscreen. Talking about sunscreen, Angelina Jolie has been using it to keep her skin protected since she was young.
