Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will, reportedly, sort out a custody agreement for the sake of their children.
Jacqueline Bisset, the British godmother of Angelina Jolie, told Daily Mail that the actress and Pitt would resolve their issues. After all, Bisset said that the A-listers love their children.
“Angelina and Brad will sort it out eventually. They both love the children so they will sort it out,” she said.
According to the publication, Bisset is a close friend of Jolie’s late mother, Marcheline Bertrand. And the Unbroken director is also close to her godmother. Last year, they were photographed having a meal at a restaurant in Paris.
Angelina Jolie still requesting for court-appointed experts to be removed from custody case
But despite Bisset’s positive outlook, things aren’t looking good for Jolie and Pitt. After all, they have been fighting for the custody of their kids since their split in 2016. And not everything has been resolved today.
And last Friday, Jolie tried to once again have Judge John W. Ouderkirk removed from the case even though her first motion was denied. Additionally, Jolie has also asked for two experts to be removed from the case.
One of the experts is a forensic psychologist appointed by the court to conduct child evaluations.
Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt custody battle
Last month, a source told Us Weekly that Angelina Jolie does not agree with Pitt’s terms and they’ve decided to stop going to family therapy together.
The source also said that Jolie is opposed to Pitt’s request of having 50/50 joint physical and legal custody of their kids.
“[She] will only agree to talk about an agreement if the home base for the children isn’t Los Angeles. The younger kids are in school in Los Angeles, which Angelina has always been opposed to. They are very smart and are eager to attend school in person [amid the COVID-19 pandemic],” the source said.
Brad Pitt hopes to have his kids overnight for the holidays
Jolie and Pitt’s private custody trial will commence on Monday, Oct. 19 and it is expected to end on Friday, Oct. 23. But according to Us Weekly, the A-listers will come face to face in court next month.
The magazine also said that Pitt hopes to have his kids overnight on Christmas Day. While nothing has been finalized yet about the overnight plans, Pitt is already reportedly scheduled to visit his kids on Dec. 25.
As of late, it is still unclear when and how Angelina Jolie will celebrate the holidays with her children.
