Angelina Jolie couldn’t help but praise and gushed over her eldest biological daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, when she talked about her kids.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have six children together. Their eldest child is Shiloh, whom they welcomed in 2006. In a past interview, Jolie spoke about her six children and said that Shiloh was the “goofiest” and “most playful.”
Angelina Jolie speaks about her children
Angelina Jolie has no favorites when it comes to her brood. She has different things to say about each of them.
In an interview with Vanity Fair in 2010, she shared how they were at home.
According to the Maleficent star, Maddox is very intelligent, and he could be a writer or travel the world and learn about places. Meanwhile, Zahara has an “extraordinary voice,” and she’s also elegant and well-spoken. On the other hand, their younger sibling Shiloh inherited their dad Brad Pitt’s humor.
“Shiloh’s hysterically funny, one of the goofiest, most playful people you’ll ever meet,” Jolie said about Shiloh.
Jolie said that when she was growing up, she was most like her daughter Shiloh.
“Goofy and verbal, the early signs of a performer. I used to get dressed up in costumes and jump around. But at some point, I got closed off, darker,” Jolie recalled.
“I don’t remember anything happening. I think you just get hit with the realities of certain things in life, think too much, start to realize the world isn’t as you wished it would be, so you deepen. Then, as I had kids and got older—being goofy, lighter—it all came back.”
Meanwhile, Jolie said her twins Knox and Vivienne were the classic boy and girl. “She’s really female. And he’s really a little dude,” the celebrity mom of six said.
Jolie said Shiloh wanted to be a boy
Angelina Jolie shared that her daughter Shiloh wanted to be a boy. She loved to dress like one.
Shiloh likes to wear tracksuits, suits with a tie, jacket and slacks. Jolie was supportive of Shiloh. They cut her hair short because she wanted to be one of the boys like her brothers Maddox and Pax.
Brad Pitt allegedly struggled to accept Shiloh
While Angelina Jolie was very supportive of Shiloh wanting to be a boy, Brad Pitt was reportedly not. An insider claimed that Pitt struggled to accept Shiloh’s wardrobe.
“Brad has always struggled to accept Shiloh. He looks a bit hippie and quirky at times, but don’t forget he was raised in an ultra-conservative Baptist family in the American Midwest, and some of those values and beliefs have stuck with him,” the source said.
However, the report was not true. An insider said that Brad Pitt was proud of Shiloh for being true to herself.
