Angelina Jolie is, allegedly, adamant for Brad Pitt to follow every single one of her demands and not the other way around.
According to Life & Style, Angelina Jolie is not backing down from the custody battle even though she knows that Pitt’s been calling several witnesses to support him in court.
“Angie is determined to get her way and expects to have every single one of her demands met. But Brad isn’t giving in. There’s so much animosity between Brad and Angie that all hope of them co-parenting on good terms is just nonexistent now,” the source said.
Angelina Jolie delays custody battle again
Pitt and Jolie’s custody battle hearing was supposed to commence earlier this month. But it was, reportedly, moved to this week because Jolie’s attempts to have Judge John W. Ouderkirk removed from the case once again delayed the proceedings.
“Things are expected to be tense throughout the proceedings. It’s a bitter showdown. Angie has stopped at nothing to get what she wants so far, but Brad isn’t taking it anymore,” the source said.
Brad Pitt’s long list of witnesses
Pitt has asked a slew of people to testify on his behalf in his custody battle against Jolie. Other than Jolie’s Girl, Interrupted co-star, Jillian Armenante, Pitt also asked domestic violence expert Alyce LaViolette to testify on his behalf. LaViolette was one of the people that testified in the Jodi Arias murder trial.
The Ad Astra actor has also asked bodyguards and security people who could vouch for his character when he was around his kids.
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie couldn’t agree on where their kids should live
According to the tabloid, Angelina Jolie and Pitt will also talk about their kids’ living arrangements and permanent residence. Pitt wants them to stay close to him, but Jolie wants them to relocate to a different country.
“Brad thinks Angie is being unreasonable. He feels she’s just dragging this divorce out to create a barrier between him and the kids. And sadly it’s working,” the source said.
The decision will, reportedly, be unveiled at a hearing in December, which will also take place privately.
“Whoever comes out the loser, in this case, needs to accept it and move on,” the source said.
However, one should take the claims made by the tabloid with a grain of salt.
Angelina Jolie and Pitt’s custody hearing is taking place privately. As such, it is unlikely for tabloids to have access to information unless it comes straight from their lawyers.
