Angelina Jolie, reportedly, has one condition before she would make an agreement with Brad Pitt with regards to their children’s custody.
According to Us Weekly, the exes relationship has become tense again after Angelina Jolie requested the judge to be removed from their case. Pitt’s team, reportedly, saw this as Jolie’s way of delaying the proceedings.
Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt facing more tensions in their relationship
Shortly after, the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood actor stepped out with his girlfriend, Nicole Poturalski. The timing of Pitt and Poturalski indirectly confirming their relationship was, allegedly, questioned by Jolie.
A source told Mirror UK that the Maleficent star is grossed out by what her ex-husband is doing. Jolie doesn’t also understand why Pitt needs to flaunt his new relationship with the entire world.
Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt no longer attending family therapy
Now, a source told Us Weekly that Jolie and Pitt stopped attending family therapy after the tensions between them escalated.
The insider also said that Pitt is still pushing for 50/50 custody of their children. But Jolie continues to refuse to have an agreement with the actor.
“[She] will only agree to talk about an agreement if the home base for the children isn’t Los Angeles. The younger kids are in school in Los Angeles, which Angelina has always been opposed to. They are very smart and are eager to attend school in person [amid the COVID-19 pandemic],” the source said.
Brangelina’s children should live close to their dad
During a previous interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Angelina Jolie expressed her desire to relocate abroad with her kids. However, the actress said that she can only do this once all her children are adults.
After all, the court-mandated that Jolie and Pitt’s children should live close to their dad. This way, they can have regular visits with him.
Prior to last month’s very public spat between Jolie and Pitt, their fans thought that their relationship has improved. After all, the Ad Astra actor was photographed visiting his kids at Jolie’s home twice.
And in June, a source also told Us Weekly that Pitt and Jolie’s main priority is still their children.
“Brad and Angelina have continued to navigate a path forward for their children. There has been progress,” the source said.
Angelina Jolie and Pitt will face each other in court in the coming weeks. There are rumors that Pitt asked ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, to be his character witness.
