Angelina Jolie had been raising her kids at home by herself since her divorce from Brad Pitt a few years ago.
In 2018, rumors swirled that Angelina Jolie is doing everything that she can to make sure that Pitt won’t get custody of their six children.
Angelina Jolie raising her kids in ‘prison?’
According to OK! magazine, Jolie hired tight security to watch over her kids. This way, she can make sure that none of them will try to escape from her house.
The Maleficent: Mistress of Evil also didn’t, allegedly, want her kids running to their dad for help whenever they’re at odds with the actress.
“It’s like they’re trapped in their own home. Everyone fears she could be poisoning them with lies about their father,” the source said.
Jolie is also, allegedly, relying on her team of six nannies, four security guards, and 14 lawyers who are tasked to keep her kids away from Pitt.
“The nannies keep the kids entertained, but also report back to Angelina if they ask about their dad,” the source said.
Angelina Jolie is very protective of her kids
Two years later, the tabloid’s dubious story is incorrect.
Last month, Angelina Jolie requested Judge John W. Ouderkirk to be removed from her custody battle against Pitt. The actor’s team saw the request as Jolie’s way of delaying their divorce proceedings.
Jolie’s lawyer said that this is not the case. After all, Jolie wants nothing more than to move on with her life.
This week, a source told Us Weekly that Jolie is very protective of her kids. As such, it is unlikely for her to be raising them in a house that’s like a prison.
“Her interests are the same as they always have been, which is to protect the kids and the health of the family. In the end, she is going to do what’s best for the children as she has done all along,” the source said.
Brad Pitt reportedly furious with his ex-wife
The insider also said that Pitt is furious with his ex-wife for yet another delay in their divorce proceedings.
“This has caused another delay. If a judge needs to decide a final custody agreement, which would be a trial, that would be tragic for the kids,” the source said.
According to reports, Angelina Jolie and Pitt will face each other in court next month.
