This week, Screen Rant ranked Jolie’s movies based on their success at the box office. According to their list, Maleficent is the most successful movie of Angelina Jolie because it raked in $758.5 million.

Maleficent was released in 2014, and Jolie played the role of the evil queen in the Disney film.

Mr. & Mrs. Smith ranked second in Jolie’s list of most successful movies with its $478 million earning. The film is also quite memorable because it was the first project that Jolie and Brad Pitt starred in together.

Shortly after, the exes confirmed their relationship to the world. However, it wasn’t free from controversy. There were claims that Pitt and Jolie were already having an affair while the actor was still married to Jennifer Aniston.

However, it is important to note that all parties involved have denied the cheating claims.

Jolie’s other movies that topped the box office

Jolie starred in the sequel for Maleficent last year. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil ranked third in the list with $436 million.

In 2008, Jolie starred in Wanted. The film is about a murderous underground group that takes part in questionable deeds. The movie ranked fourth in the list with $341 million.

Angelina Jolie also starred in Salt in 2010. The movie is about a female CIA officer, who is accused of being a Russian spy. The action-mystery film raked in $294 million, which landed it on the fifth spot.

In the same year, Jolie starred in The Tourist alongside Johnny Depp. According to the publication, there were rumors that the A-listers didn’t get along well on set. Still, they managed to release a beautiful project that raked in $278 million.

While Jolie’s role as Lara Croft is probably one of her most memorable portrayals, Tomb Raider didn’t do as well as the other movies in the list. Tomb Raider ranked seventh in the list with $275 million.

Gone In 60 Seconds ranked eighth in the list with $237 million. Jolie starred in the 2000 action thriller alongside Nicholas Cage.

In ninth place is Jolie’s 2004 movie, Alexander. The project, reportedly, earned $167 million in the box office.

And in 10th place is Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life with $160 million. The movie was released in 2003. Angelina Jolie reprised her role as Lara Croft in the film.
