Angelina Jolie recently requested for Judge John W. Ouderkirk to be removed from her and Brad Pitt’s ongoing custody case.
According to her lawyer, Angelina Jolie isn’t trying to drag out the proceedings. Rather, she simply wants to ensure that there will be a fair trial.
But according to In Touch Weekly, there’s another reason why Jolie has been adamant about having the judge removed from the case.
Angelina Jolie wants the judge out because of his alleged threats
Two years, the judge was, allegedly, quite stern with Jolie when he told her to stop checking her children’s phone conversations. He also instructed the actress not to monitor Pitt’s visits.
“If the minor remains closed down to their father, it may result in a reduction of the time they spend with Jolie and may result in the court ordering primary physical custody to Pitt,” a source said.
Brad Pitt wants to move on with his life
Pitt was, reportedly, hoping that their custody battle will finally move forward, especially after it was slowed down because of the coronavirus pandemic. However, two weeks ago, Jolie requested for Ouderkirk’s removal from the case.
“He was hoping that this was finally close to getting resolved – his only concern is the kids and being able to share custody. Brad knows she’s never satisfied and likes to be in control. This hell has been going on since 2016,” the source said.
The insider also said that Pitt wants nothing more than to move on with his life. However, Angelina Jolie is seemingly willing to drag the proceedings out for as long as possible, and Pitt can’t do anything about it.
Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt’s war continues
Rumors about Jolie and Pitt feuding after their divorce isn’t a new storyline. However, not all claims are accurate, so they should be taken with a grain of salt.
Two years ago, National Enquirer claimed that Pitt and Jolie’s kids want to stay with their mom. And this, allegedly, upset the Ad Astra actor.
“It’s not the big win that Brad was hoping for. He’s getting the joint physical and legal custody he asked for, but there are contingencies. His eldest kids never want to see dad again and that hurts him. They’re on Angie’s side – and always have been,” the source said.
However, the custody arrangement between Pitt and Angelina Jolie isn’t final yet. As such, the claims made by the tabloid two years ago was simply based on hearsays.
