Disney+ is, reportedly, going to make a TV adaptation of the video game series Kingdom Hearts. The new streaming network remains mum about its latest project. However, rumors have it that it may feature Angelina Jolie and Will Smith.
As both Maleficent and Aladdin movies are Disney films, Kingdom Hearts may feature the characters of Angelina Jolie and Will Smith. Anyhow, fans should only take this assumption with a grain of salt as Disney has yet to confirm anything about it.
The appearance of the two most prominent names in Hollywood
Allegedly, Mouse House is eyeing to create two series based on the role-playing action game. One will be a live-action TV series, while the other will be an animated one.
A source told We Got This Covered that Disney is planning to include the two A-list stars on the roster of its cast. However, it will only be for cameo roles. There is also a chance that their Disney characters may appear in the animated series.
Allegedly, each episode of Kingdom Hearts will feature a different Disney movie world. So, when they get to the stories of Maleficent and Aladdin, Angelina Jolie and Will Smith may make their appearances.
It is quite dreamy for the studio to get the two most prominent names in Hollywood in one show. Although the scale of its production is unknown, with the names like them, it seems to be a pretty big one.

The huge world of ‘Kingdom Hearts’
If ever Kingdom Hearts makes it to Disney+, the video-on-demand service will feature a wide array of characters due to the huge world it features. In Kingdom Hearts III, it features the animated classics the Toy Kingdom, The Lion King, and Monster, Inc.
However, it has yet to feature the world Pirates of the Caribbean. But, will it ever include Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in the show?
For a few weeks, rumors have it that a Kingdom Hearts TV series will be in the works on Disney+.
According to Animation Express, MCU Cosmic editor-in-chief Jeremy Conrad confirmed the news on Twitter. “Yes, it’s true,” he said, along with a GIF of the game’s main characters, Sora, Donald, and Goofy.
The DisInsider editor-in-chief Skyler Shuler also added that Disney’s original voice stars Jim Cummings, Bill Farmer, and Tony Anselmo will reprise their roles in the show. They will be voicing the characters of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Pete, Goofy, Pluto, and Donald Truck.
So, fans have to wait for Disney+’s confirmation if Angelina Jolie and Will Smith will indeed be part of the Kingdom Hearts TV Series.
