Animal Crossing: New Horizons proves to be a game of endless creativity as players opted to recreate the iconic intro of The Avatar: The Last Airbender.
The Avatar: The Last Airbender is one of the most popular TV series since its first debut. When the series landed on Netflix earlier last month, it easily went up the ladder and hit number one.
The television series first aired in Nickelodeon between 2005 and 2008, but still resonates strongly today because of its unique storyline.
The Avatar: The Last Airbender’s intro recreated into the Animal Crossing’s framework
Owing to its popularity, the series has been recreated into the Animal Crossing’s framework. The modified video intro is similar to the series, featuring the voice of Katara as the narrator.
It also showcased the game’s characters dressed up as the main characters of the Avatar. Additionally, the game’s characters are seen bending the elements of water, earth, fire, and air.
The imaginative remake came from the brilliant mind of YouTube’s The Nookers. The remake captured every detail of the costumes. Also, the video got more interesting as the series’ characters fit into the island life of the game.
At the end of the video, The Nookers provided a whole bunch of codes for other players to create the costumes of Aang and his friends.
The Nookers made other Animal Crossing re-creations
The Avatar: The Last Airbender is not the only series to receive high treatment. The Nookers also remade Brooklyn Nine-Nine and a Pokemon battle. The Avatar received more than 40,000 upvotes in just less than a day. With that, the Animal Crossing: New Horizons offers high versatility in customization and modification features.

Other players have also made their renditions of the Avatar series. One Reddit user shdycnnn recreated his pond similar to The Last Airbender. Moreover, two Reddit users illni, and demonica12 also posted their renditions. They remade the Northern Water Tribe’s Spirit Oasis seen in the concluding episodes of the series.
Still a WIP but I’m recreating the spirit oasis from Avatar the Last Airbender on my animal crossing island! I’ll post the finished product soon! Even got momo sleeping near the water 😊 @NickAnimation #ATLA #animalcrossing pic.twitter.com/4lDjY43IXm

Besides, the Spirit Oasis is not the only rendition found in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Even before the streaming began on Netflix, other players have already recreated some scenes found in the series. Reddit user ItsPronouncedOiler filled his island with the Avatar’s scenes. He renditioned Iroh’s emotional scene found in season 2 of the series.
Player-made creation is Animal Crossing’s major advantage
Player-made creation is one of the game’s best features. Because of this, Animal Crossing New Horizons became the best selling game on Nintendo eShop. The game allows players to modify their islands and their characters’ costumes. Furthermore, the creators are always adding new content to the game.
