Nintendo Switch exclusive and popular title Animal Crossing: New Horizons just reclaimed its first position in the UK boxed sales chart.
More than a year after it was launched, Animal Crossing: New Horizons once again reached the No.1 spot in the UK for the week ending April 10th.
The title was released on March 20th in 2020.
‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ is still popular
Developer and publisher Nintendo must be feeling again after witnessing a boost in the ranks.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons jumped one place, to the top, despite a 21 percent drop weekly.
The first position in the chart also surpassed 1 million boxed sales in the UK. It’s only the second game, from last year, to do so.
The other one is EA’s FIFA 21, which ended up in the second spot, as it dropped 34 percent in sales week-on-week.
However, last week it was the best-selling title.
The remaining eight games in the Top Ten also witnessed a drop in their sales. No new title made an entry into the list.
Monster Hunter Rise also saw a dip as it slipped to sixth place.
Here are all the Top 10 games in the UK boxed sales chart (in order of their position) for the week ending April 10th:
+ Animal Crossing: New Horizons

+ Mario Kart 8: Deluxe
+ Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fur

A new Call of Duty entry, Horizon Forbidden West, God of War: Ragnarok, and STALKER 2 are also highly awaited.
But that’s not it!
The line-up extends further with Returnal, Stray, Deathloop, Dying Light 2, Psychonauts 2, Scarlet Nexus, and Biomutant.
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, The Day Before, Glitchpunk, Etched Memories, Humankind, Cyber Shadow, and No More Heroes 3 are other crucial releases.
