Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a smash-hit, and the developers aren’t even done with the game yet. The game continues to expand each month, and fans might have uncovered what’s next to come.
One feature present in the previous Animal Crossing but was missing in the new Nintendo Switch title was Dream Suite. The feature was headed by a lovely Tapir named Luna.
In Dream Suite, players can share their village to anyone if they allow out. Players can then visit the village during a dream-like state. To the dismay of many, Dream Suite is not present in New Horizons, but that could change soon.
Game codes reveal possible return of Dream Suite
One player who goes by the name of Ninji has discovered that the code DreamID’ popped up after version 1.0.0 of the game got released. Then in version 1.2.0, a code that writes ActorNetDreamLand, thus adding more fuel to the speculations of the possible return of the feature.
The last of Ninji’s discoveries point to countless other codes that seemed to be used for processing a server while players are visiting another island. Some of the codes are mMtPlayerVillagersNum, mMtSysRegion, and mMtLang. So far, there has been no other use for the codes currently.
Dream Suite is one of the most requested features for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and it’s likely that Nintendo will add it eventually due to fan requests. As the company has said before, the game will continue to be expanded within the coming months.
Why the rumor could come true
This isn’t the first time that a part of the game’s code was leaked. In fact, the recently added Redd and the new part to the museum were also leaked a few weeks before being announced. Eventually, the features and the character was added to the game in a free content update last week.
So far, those who’ve datamined the game have yet to find codes that didn’t eventually lead to something being added to the game. What’s even more exciting is that the features were eventually added shortly after their codes were discovered in-game. That being said, Luna and her Dream Suite could be coming soon.
For now, players can still do a lot of things while waiting for Dream Suite. Aside from Earth Day, there are several other events lined up for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. There’s still some time before players can show off their islands via the Dream Suite, so it’s best to spruce things up before then.
