The current season of Apex Legends is about to draw to a close, and fans are excited for what’s next. Though we’ve yet to see any actual news about Apex Legends Season 6, the bits of lore and information in-game are already plenty.
Apex Legends Season 6 is going to introduce another Battle Pass with loads of cosmetic items to get. Fans are excited to see what’s next, but Respawn Entertainment is yet to dive deep into the next season. Here’s everything we know about it so far.
Season 6 start date
The fifth season of Apex Legends will end on August 17. Although we’ve yet to see the start of the next season, it’s likely that we’ll have access to it shortly after the current season ends. This means it might be on August 17 or on August 18.
What’s next?
The Broken Ghost quest-line introduced a lot of potential elements being introduced in the next season. Perhaps the most exciting of which is a new map named Olympus. As per the game’s lore, Olympus is the homeworld of Octane and Lifeline.
A new map doesn’t sound too far off as it was revealed before that the developers are already working on a new one. They even had to build a studio for further development on the battle royale.
Of course, as with past seasons, we can expect a new character to arrive in Apex Legends Season 6. For now, there are many guesses as to who it could be. The most popular guess so far is Ashe, who’s a part of the Broken Ghost quest. The robot is also from Titanfall 2.
Another popular guess is Rampart. Just recently, her alleged skill set has been leaked. This led many to believe that development on Rampart is already complete and that she’s going to be a part of the game soon.
Beyond these additions, we can also expect to see major weapon tweaks in the next season. No new weapon was added in season 5, so in season 6, fans already have high hopes on a new one.
Apex Legends Season 6 is going to add a ton of new content for the battle royale, and fans of the game are ecstatic about it. We will begin to see teases about the upcoming major update soon, so fans should keep an eye out in World’s Edge or King’s Canyon as these will likely be the source of the hints.
