Respawn has released an update for Apex Legends season 6. The changes came amid criticisms of the game.
The quick Apex Legends season 6 update arrived due to the weapon Devotion. The player base responded negatively with the weapon dropping back into the regular loot pool.
Respawn nerfed the Devotion by reducing its damage from 17 to 16. The developers changed the recoil pattern as well.
Devotion is one of the strongest LMGs in the game upon getting the Turbocharger hop-up. However, the abundance of turbochargers in the game made it a very viable option.
Besides picking up the weapon as a regular loot, some of the attachments can easily be crafted via the replicator.
There are a lot of gold helmets and knockdown shields available in the game as well. Respawn nerfed the spawn rate making it a rare item as it should be.
The full patch update notes are available on Respawn’s official Trello account.
Bug fixes surrounding Rampart
Rampart is the latest Legend added into the game. It is only natural to find bugs early on to the season. The majority of these are cosmetics bugs.
One bug that was fixed was an error on Bloodhound’s skin whenever they are on Sheila. There is also a bug on Lifeline’s cosmetics, but it is yet to be addressed.
Other bugs include immediate disconnection upon dropping a Rampart wall. The sound bug playing Rampart’s finisher “boom” is also fixed.
Respawn has also fixed the Amped wall cover when it comes to gore locales. It might be unfamiliar to some players. But it is related to some countries that have stricter rules when it comes to gore in video games.
Apex Legends season 6 is still four days young. Expect more patch updates and bug fixes in the coming days.
