Respawn is addressing the Apex Legends weapon bug plaguing the game today. The bug allows energy weapons to fire without any sound.
Apex Legends season 6 started recently. The recent update comes with a number of bugs. Respawn already fixed some during the latest patch update.
However, there are a number of bugs that still need to be addressed. One of which is the recent Devotion and Volt audio bug.
We some folks working on audio fixes for the devo and volt being silent.. but I wouldn’t tbag you maybe just crouch once or twice on your downed character lol

According to some players, both weapons are fire without any sound in some instances. The Devotion has a charge time with an audio cue. But it does not play at times.
The same goes for the Volt. Players are frustrated as this is a game-breaking bug.
For any first-person shooting game, footsteps and audio cues are one of the elements that can determine a team fight.
The sound prompts a player on where an enemy is hiding. The audio allows players to determine what weapon an enemy is using as well.
In-game audio cues remain unfixed
This is not the first time that an audio bug is discovered inside the game. The audio complaints were going on in the community for the past few seasons.
The footsteps bug, for example, has been around for quite some time now. However, Respawn has not addressed any of it.
This bug allows players to sneak up on another and shoot them point-blank.
There are several reasons why audio bugs need to be fixed immediately. The lower time-to-kill makes it easier for people to shred enemies. With footsteps gone, it is easier to score kills.
Back in Season 5 or earlier, a player being shot still has enough time to respond due to the higher TTK. But, with the armor changes, players easily shred their enemies.
Hopefully, Respawn fixes these bugs immediately. It would be a shame if Apex Legends continue with this game-breaking bugs.
