The new Apex Legends season introduces a lot of changes to the game. This includes weapon modifications, loot changes, and Legend changes.
Apex Legends has very unique gameplay. But it is clear that the buffs and nerfs this season greatly affect one Legend or another.
Rampart, for example, is the latest Legend joining the Apex Games. She is there to shake the meta.
The patch notes released has a lot of changes coming to the older Legends. Now, who is the winner this season?
Bloodhound takes the best buff this time
Respawn is keen on balancing the pick rate of Legends in-game. That being said, Bloodhound gets the best buff this season.
According to Respawn, “we’re mostly buffing Bloodhound as they needed the help the most.”
The developers said that Bloodhound has a performance that “leaves a lot to be desired.”
With that in mind, here are the changes coming to their skillset.
Beast of the Hunt
Bloodhound’s ultimate is getting a major buff. Whenever they score a knockdown or kill an enemy, the timer extends. This gives their speed and vision boost more time before running out.
The ultimate extension ranges from 5-15 seconds depending on the time remaining on their skill.
Eye of the Allfather
This is Bloodhound’s tactical. It scans enemies in a conical direction giving players their location.
Whenever the tactical is used during their ultimate, the tactical cooldown goes up quicker. The scan speed also gets double the speed.
The cooldown goes down from 25 seconds to a mere 6 seconds. It means players get a wallhack every six seconds.
This might be the best Bloodhound buff to date. It makes them more viable in competitive gameplay.
Hopefully, Apex Legends players pick him more often due to these buffs.
