Apple announces the new special audio feature for AirPods

Apple has introduced a new feature for its AirPods Pro. The new feature of AirPods Pro is spatial audio and automatic switching.

Apple AirPods Pro was launched in 2019. Since 2019, Apple was quietly improving its AirPods Pro feature. Apple was working on noise cancellation and sound quality. Earlier, Apple had not made any announcements regarding the AirPods Pro improvements since the launch.

Now, Apple has announced the new feature of AirPods Pro. The new feature of AirPods Pro is spatial audio and automatic switching. Also, This feature will be available in standard AirPods, selected Beats headphones, and earbuds.

Spatial audio feature

The spatial audio feature is going to change the listening experience of every user. The information given by Apple says that it uses the algorithm to convert sound 5.1, 7.1, or Dolby Atmos into Spatial audio. Also, Apple is trying to reduce the surrounding noise and will also change the streaming experience.

Apple gives an immersive surround audio experience. Moreover, This feature will make you feel like you are in the middle of the action. It applies directional audio filters and adjusts the frequency going to each ear to achieve the immersion effect. It makes an audio sound like it is coming right from your device rather than coming from headphones.

Some specific devices will support the spatial audio, i.e., iPhone 7 and all later iPhone, iPad Pro-12.9-inch, third-generation and letter, iPad pro 11 inches, iPad Air third generation and letter, iPad sixth generation, and later, and iPad mini fifth generation. All of the devices have to update with the latest iOS/iPad OS version.

Automatic switching feature

It is another fantastic feature of Apple AirPods Pro. With this feature, AirPods Pro will automatically switch between iPhone, iPad, and Mac whenever the user will start using one of them.

This feature will change users’ day to day experience. iPad Pro will automatically switch the device after connecting the user’s device to AirPods Pro. Also, the user should connect the devices to the same iCloud account.

For example, a user is listening to music on the iPhone, but switch over to watching a video on Mac, then at that time, AirPods will seamlessly connect to the Mac. As well as this feature will work on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple watch with the latest software version. It also works on AirPods Pro and second-generation AirPods.

Concerning that, the feature will be beneficial for in-home theatre experience. The users will be able to experience the highest sound quality in the world.
