Apple TV application will be available on 4K HDR TVs of Sony’s X900H series. Currently, this feature is only available in the US.
Apple is going to launch its Apple TV application on Android TV. This move from the tech giant will be the first time in history that the company will launch an Android application.
According to Sony’s information, the app will be rolling out in 4K HDR TVs of Sony’s new X900H series in the United States.
Also, Sony said that they would launch the app on some selected 2018, 2019, and 2020 models by the end of this year.
On the other hand, the company will work with other Android television devices like Nvidia, Shield, and the new Google Chromecast.
What is the Apple TV app?
Apple TV app is a video streaming and media player software program which is developed by Apple Inc. At first, the application was released in the United States in December 2016.
This application is available on iPhone, iPad, iPod, and television OS.
Along with Apple devices, the Apple TV app is also available on some other non-Apple devices like Roku and Amazon Firestick.
With this application, users can watch Apple TV+ originals like Ted Lesso. Users can also subscribe to premium channels like Showtime and Starz on a monthly fee.

4K HDR TVs of Sony X900H series
4K HDR TVs of Sony’s X900H series is available in four variants. The price of the 4K HDR TV is $999 for its smallest 55-inch version. The resolution of this television is 3840×2160. It comes in HDR: HLG, HDR10, and Dolby version.
Sony’s X900H series comes with an Android 9.0 operating system.
The android operating system provides different streaming platforms like Disney+, Amazon prime, and many more. It also provides Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB, and the Ethernet connectivity option.
Additionally, the Apple TV app is also available on some other Android devices. Those Android devices are Roku and Amazon Firestick.
The company is also working with other Android TV devices like Nvidia, Shield, and the new Google Chromecast.
