Apple has implemented its Neural Text-to-Speech (Neural TTS) technology to create Siri voices by natural sound. Apple has produced two new Siri voices through iOS 14.5 beta 6.

Siri, its speech assistant application, has evolved to be extra natural and effective over the years. The organization is all concerned with developing and improving its services to give its users the best possible exposure.

Apple Inc. has newly proclaimed to include two new Siri voices in their forthcoming iOS 14.5 upgrade. Yes, ever since the iPhone maker has launched Siri, the default voice of Siri is a female voice, and that is about to change in Apple’s newest software update.

The two new voices work source star recordings that imply running through Apple’s Neural text-to-speech generator, delivering the voices run more naturally through expressions generated on the fly.

The new voices are open to English-speaking users worldwide, and Siri users can choose a personal preference of tools in 16 languages.
Apple’s two new Siri voices are planned for US English users and are ready in both female and male versions. The added voices arrive alongside the current female and male Siri voices. Users who are already on iOS 14.5 beta can get the new agents on their devices by opening Settings > Siri & Search > Siri Voice.
Technology behind voices
Apple has used its Neural Text-to-Speech (Neural TTS) technology for creating the new Siri voices with a natural tone.
Moreover, the advanced beta updates the Siri voices in Ireland, Russia, and Italy to Neural TTS, taking the whole vote using the latest tech to 38. Siri presently manages 25 billion requests per month besides 500 million devices and maintains 21 languages in 36 nations.
In addition to the new voices and the update for the existing agents, the iOS 14.5 beta makes the option to let users choose which Siri voice they require on their devices at the moment of setup.
In few countries, Apple has already offered Siri by default into a male voice. The new change allows users to select a female or male voice as default on their iOS gadgets.
Unlike Google Assistant choosing a male voice, the aforementioned has a female voice. Amazon’s Alexa, on the other hand, doesn’t own a male voice to pick from, and it is currently restricted to female voice only.
