Apple’s iPhone sales dominate top 10 selling U.S. smartphones

Apple iPhone sales dominated the top 10 selling US smartphones in the first week of September. They sold more than their rival counterparts.

As per the report by TheElec, iPhone 11 (leading the list), iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone SE second Generation, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone XR are among the top 10 selling smartphones.

The top six smartphones are all from Apple, with the exception of Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G. It took the fourth spot after iPhone 11, 11 Pro Max, and SE second generation.

Technically, Apple’s major smartphone models are on this list.

Top 10 selling smartphones for September

Apart from iPhones, there are three models from Samsung and two from LG as well. Along with the fourth position, Samsung also took the eighth and ninth spots. On the other hand, LG managed to be on seventh and tenth rank, respectively.

The following is the list of all smartphones:

  • Apple iPhone 11
  • Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max
  • iPhone SE (second Generation)
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G
  • Apple iPhone XR
  • Apple iPhone 11 Pro
  • LG Stylo 6
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G
  • Samsung Galaxy S20 5G
  • LG K51

When it comes to budget, then LG’s phones fall into the mid-$200 to above-$100 range. Samsung, however, managed to sell its premium as well as affordable variants.

Apple is in a league of its own with all major iPhones competing among each other. It’s good news, though, for the Californian tech giant.

Ever since iPhone XR launched two years ago, it has been a trend for the company to be on top of sales.

Apple recently made new Watch and iPad announcements during the Time Flies online event. People were expecting new iPhones, but that didn’t happen.

Apple event in October

In October, it is almost certain now that there will be an event for the new phones.

Speculations are strong that this time four iPhone models, including a mini version, will be launched. Air Tags and Air Pods studios are also strongly rumored to be revealed. Their official news is highly awaited since last year.

Many leaks and concept designs are already out for both the products in the last few months. It will be interesting to watch out for the big reveals in another virtually live-streamed session.

The last two outings of the company’s stylishly held online event indeed impressed all the tech enthusiasts. They praised the production design and scale of the smartly conducted events streamed live via multiple portals.
