The wait is almost over, and Apple’s last event of 2020, “One More Thing” is about to start. Some new products are highly rumored.
According to The Hindu Business Line, Apple’s Silicon-based Macbooks are the top products expected to be unveiled.
Tech experts and YouTubers are hoping for great revelations, but it seems like it won’t be that much big. Yes, there won’t be the AirPods Studio. Previously they were assumed to get announced this year.
Apple “One More Thing” and future reveals
Talking of today’s event then the big announcement will be of California-based tech giant’s home processors for the Macbooks. They have done it finally, after succeeding with the iPhones, iPods, Watches, and Homepods.
Apple’s 15-year-old partnership with Intel is now clearly over. That means the desktops and notebooks of the company won’t possess the latter’s chips. And it was already revealed in June’s WWDC event. Tim Cook said that from now on, all the devices of the firm would have native processors. Apple will design itself.
And everyone knows how powerful its chipsets are. They always set a benchmark every year with new iPhone line-ups. In other devices like iPads and Watches, also they have impressed the users. So, it’s obvious that Macbook Pro(s) with Silicon processors will justify this revolutionary decision.
Other things almost certain to be announced today are AirTags and iOS 14.3’s beta release. The latter is not yet finalized, but many software enthusiasts are hoping for that.
AirTags are being discussed for more than a year now. And Apple will surely end the wait over the item-finding accessory for the iOS ecosystem’s consumers.
Interestingly, the third version of Homepod is also expected to be unveiled. It will be priced between the costlier model and the mini speaker. Lastly, some hopes for the next generation of AirPods are also there. However, it’s not just clear whether Apple will do that or not, depending on their preparations.
iPhone 12 series doing well among the buyers
Meanwhile, the latest iPhone 12 line-up is doing good as far as the sales are concerned. Yes, they are not very high but significant for the company.
The iPhone 12 is selling the most among all four variants. Upon its release, it has maintained its aura among the consumers who were thinking of upgrading this year. And also those who are deciding to buy their first iPhone.
iPhone 12 Mini and 12 Pro Max are also available now to purchase. It will be interesting to see how the Mini version performs in the coming months.
Coming back to today’s event, Apple fans will be hoping to get surprised by the “One More Thing.”
