While the tech world is experiencing launch delays due to the coronavirus pandemic, it doesn’t seem to be the case in the gaming universe. Expected game releases for the month of April is pushing through.
It’ll be a busy month ahead for the all-time gamers out there, and also to the newly turned gamers because of the quarantine. It looks like we’re on for a heck of a ride on this month’s series of game releases.
Already released games
A few games have already launched in the first two weeks of April. Players first witnessed the release of Capcom’s remake of Resident Evil 3 last April. Embark on the journey once again with Jill Valentine.
Next, PlayStation users can now catch Below after it was released on the PS4 platform last Apr. 7. Before, the Capybara Games action-adventure game title was only exclusive to Xbox users.
Moreover, what was originally exclusive to Steam is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch since Apr. 7. The cooperative cooking simulation video game, Overcooked! 2: The Gourmet Edition, was released in August 2018.
It was well-received by the players and had a very high rating.
Also, on Apr. 7, Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories was made available to PS4, Switch, and PC.
Last Apr. 8, NEXT Studios’ Biped finally came to the PlayStation platform, while Convoy arrived in all console platforms – PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
It’s now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Also, the most highly anticipated release of this month is the Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Square Enix’s legendary franchise is now available on PlayStation 4 since Apr. 10.
Choice Provisions’ Tharsis is now available on Switch since last Saturday. Today, Fallout 76 Wastelanders expansion has already made its way to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.

Upcoming releases
For the rest of week 16, expect the release of Hellpoint and Overcooked! 2: The Gourmet Edition on PC platforms on Apr. 16.
On the same day, Triple Scale Games’ Save Your Nuts will be made available on Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
Meanwhile, Andromeda Entertainment’s SoundSelf: A Technodelic will debut come Apr. 22 on PC and PC VR.
It is synchronistic that this game, which is a radically new approach to what-a-game-can-do, has wrapped development just in time to really help people come back to stillness and inner peace in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Big day for April 24 and 28
Furthermore, it looks like the last few days of April are going to be big days for this month’s game releases.
On Apr. 24 alone, four games are going to be released.
Accordingly, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road To Boruto will finally be available on Switch, while Predator: Hunting Grounds is coming to PlayStation 4.
Trials of Mana is also set to be released on PC, Playstation 4, and Switch while Nintendo launches the Switch Lite Coral on the very same day.
For Apr. 28, there are also four game titles that are to be welcomed. The most awaited Gears Tactics will finally be available on PC.
Sakura Wars and Azure Striker Gunvolt: Striker Pack will both be available on PlayStation 4 that day.
Team17’s Moving Out is scheduled to make its way to all game console platforms – PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and on PC.
Also, making its console debut is Dread Nautical on Apr. 29. The game will finally be creepiest tactical RPG title is finally arriving on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this Apr. 29.
Lastly, Fortnite’s Chapter 2 Season 3 is reportedly going to be unleashed on the last day of April. It’ll be interesting to see as to how the players will receive the new chapter season considering the current controversy Epic Games is facing with its Battle Royale-hit game.
