Are NCT’s Jungwoo and Stray Kids’ Lee Know New ‘Music Core’ MCs? Here’s what we know

According to reports, NCT’s Jungwoo and Stray Kids’ Lee Know are the new Music Core MCs.

Hankook Ilbo reported on July 16 that NCT’s Jungwoo, Stray Kids’ Lee Know, and Kim Min Ju were appointed hosts of the MBC’s music program. It was previously reported that Chani, SF9’s MC, will be ending her tenure on July 17.

A perfect duo?

Kim Jung Woo (aka Jungwoo), is a member of SM Entertainment’s NCT since 2018 and its sub-groups NCT 127, NCT U. He is one of the most recognizable K-pop idols of his generation. His natural charm and talent are the reason for his popularity.

Lee Know, formerly Minho, is also a member of JYP Entertainment’s Stray Kids. He has a reputation for being positive and charming. Lee Know is a member of one of the most popular Kpop groups of his generation. This has certainly helped to enhance his natural personality.

The two of them would be a great pairing for hosting a music program. They have a unique ability to draw attention from fans and netizens, which could soon become a reality.

Recent rumors have swirled about Jungwoo of NCT and Lee Know from Stray Kids, regarding their roles as the new MCs on the popular MBC show, Music Core.

A Korean news media outlet reported yesterday, July 16, that Jungwoo from NCT and Lee Know, of Stray Kids, was the new hosts of the popular music program of MBC.

Kim Min Ju could be the other MC. It was previously reported that the last episode of Chani, SF9’s host, will air on the 17th of July.

What the insiders have said

An insider from MBC said that the report was now out and that “It is not yet decided.”

If this happens, STAYs (the Fandom Name of Stray Kids) and NCTzenss (the Fandom Name of NCT) will be in for a treat!

MBC’s Music Core, which will be broadcast for three weeks beginning on July 24, will also not be available due to the ongoing broadcast of the Tokyo Olympics. MBC’s Music Core will be back on August 14.
