Ariana Grande is the latest music icon rumored to join American Horror Story season 10. And it’s all based on the list of people that show creator Ryan Murphy follows.
American Horror Story is known to be a fan of featuring music artists. Some of the famous names that have already played roles in the anthology include Stevie Nicks, Lady Gaga, Pati LaBelle and Adam Levine.
That is why with season 10 arriving soon, it’s no surprise why a singer like Grande is being rumored to be a guest star.
The question now is, will Ariana Grande be joining AHS season 10?
The biggest clue
So far, the biggest clue there is in Murphy’s Instagram. According to reports, the famous show producer recently followed Grande on the social media platform. He joins Grande’s 183 million followers.
It seems like an ordinary social media activity but not so much with Murphy. Apparently, Murphy has only been following one person on Instagram for quite a while now.
The sole person on his list was his husband David Miller. But that’s no longer the case because now he follows Miller and Grande.
Fans were quick to speculate that Murphy’s recent follow to the “7 Rings” singer may have something to do with a project together.
The first thing that came into their mind is AHS season 10 which Murphy also recently teased about. He posted a photo of recurring character Rubber Man on the same day that he followed Grande.
In the caption, he wrote “Coming soon…” which already confirms the return of the creepy shiny black latex man. Other than that, there is no word on whether Grande is going to be part of the series.
It’s still a possibility though considering Grande has already worked with Murphy before in Scream Queens. The pop star is also reportedly a fan of horror, haunted houses and all things Halloween.
Season 10 release date, cast
AHS season 10 has no premiere date yet. The most recent seasons came around September though so the 10th run may follow suit.
As for the cast, confirmed to join are Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Lily Rabe, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Kathy Bates, Angelica Ross and Finn Wittrock.
Jessica Lange is not returning for season 10. “I don’t think I would want to start from scratch and create a character,” said Lange.
The theme of the upcoming season is also still under the wraps. So far, AHS has covered Murder House, Asylum, Coven, Freak Show, Hotel, Roanoke, Cult, Apocalypse and 1984.
Stay tuned for more of American Horror Story season 10 details soon.
