Ubisoft just released the new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla update 1.2.0. It brings several new improvements with other perks as well.

It can be called a significant update from Ubisoft for the players of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Patch 1.2.0 finally adds the long-awaited transmogrification of in-game gear.

The game’s stability and overall performance also receive a much-needed boost.

‘Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’: What’s in patch 1.2.0?

Along with the transmogrification, the new update also brings several new skills for protagonist Eivor. And there is also support for the upcoming Ostara Festival seasonal event.

Speaking of transmogrification, the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla fans have wanted it for a long time. Finally, Ubisoft granted their wish, and here it is!

What it will do is change the appearance of equipment while keeping an item’s characteristics intact. This feature very became famous during its initial introduction in 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.

Players can change an item’s appearance at any time without paying anything!

But Valhalla will have this option implemented differently. After the latest update, 1.2.0, players can change their item’s appearance, with a small fee of 50 silver at blacksmith Gunnar in Ravensthorpe.

Other new patch changes add various new skills to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

The Fearless Leaper will give the players the ability to perform a leap attack while causing damage to a big area. It can be done at any height, no matter where you are on the map.

Raven’s Loot allows you to grab items from enemies killed with ranged attacks.

And there’s also the new Loot Food skill that allows Eivor to gather edibles from dead bodies. It helps in healing, which will prove to be helpful in increased difficulties.

Devs are also preparing for the upcoming Ostara Festival, the in-game seasonal event. It will be available from March 18 to April 18.

The festival will have new Ravensthorpe decorations and some side activities like egg hunts and various special rewards.

New video games coming in 2021

While 2020’s heavyweights like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and other blockbusters may still be popular, this year is also packed with many surprises.

Speaking of surprises, Hitman 3, Valheim, and Little Nightmares 2 have already shown what lies ahead in 2021. They have impressed players and critics, combined.

Now talking about upcoming new titles, some of the most-awaited entries are Resident Evil Village, Far Cry 6, and Halo Infinite.

Gotham Knights, Horizon Forbidden West, Returnal, God of War: Ragnarok, and a new COD installment are also highly anticipated.

Several recently announced games to launch later this year are The Day Before, Glitchpunk, and Etched Memories.
