Ubisoft is enjoying a good time right now, thanks to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The 2020 title has brought massive profit for the publisher.
According to Eurogamer, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is generating massive revenue since its release in 2020. Publisher Ubisoft, as a result, witnessed a great financial year. It earned more than $1.2 billion over the holiday season.

“Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” was proving victorious!
Speaking of the current success, then Ubisoft is undoubtedly going through a significant phase. The record sales of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla turned out massive, especially during Christmas last year. In December, it even dethroned Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in the United Kingdom.
However, Ubisoft didn’t reveal accurate sales figures
The publisher did reveal that the Viking-set historical title generated more revenue than any other previous Assassin’s Creed game. It also includes the money from in-game spending. Players these days love to invest in a lot of game-based outfits and accessories.
Ubisoft also said that two of its titles, including Watch Dogs: Legion, were among the four best-sellers on PS5 and Xbox Series S|X. Nintendo sales were strong as well, with Just Dance 2021 performing great. The game also became its series’ best-selling entry in the last six years.
Apart from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the publisher’s other release Immortals: Fenyx Rising, also received good reviews. In 2021, it has several new “AAA” launches scheduled to arrive soon. The publisher will hope to have another brilliant financial calendar with upcoming arrivals.
