Ubisoft is enjoying a good time right now, thanks to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. The 2020 title has brought massive profit for the publisher.

According to Eurogamer, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is generating massive revenue since its release in 2020. Publisher Ubisoft, as a result, witnessed a great financial year. It earned more than $1.2 billion over the holiday season.

Ubisoft will come up with a lot of new titles soon in the coming months.

“Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” was proving victorious!

Speaking of the current success, then Ubisoft is undoubtedly going through a significant phase. The record sales of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla turned out massive, especially during Christmas last year. In December, it even dethroned Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War in the United Kingdom.

However, Ubisoft didn’t reveal accurate sales figures

The publisher did reveal that the Viking-set historical title generated more revenue than any other previous Assassin’s Creed game. It also includes the money from in-game spending. Players these days love to invest in a lot of game-based outfits and accessories.

Ubisoft also said that two of its titles, including Watch Dogs: Legion, were among the four best-sellers on PS5 and Xbox Series S|X. Nintendo sales were strong as well, with Just Dance 2021 performing great. The game also became its series’ best-selling entry in the last six years.

Apart from Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, the publisher’s other release Immortals: Fenyx Rising, also received good reviews. In 2021, it has several new “AAA” launches scheduled to arrive soon. The publisher will hope to have another brilliant financial calendar with upcoming arrivals.

Upcoming video games in 2021

Meanwhile, gamers will look forward to the new year with high hopes, just like 2020. The Last of Us 2, Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Cyberpunk 2077 was massive releases last year. And 2021 will indeed prove to be bigger than these titles in terms of new video games.

Several big installments are already out at the moment, like Hitman 3, Little Nightmares 2, and The Medium.

Talking about the most-awaited names of 2021, then there is Resident Evil Village, Deathloop, and Horizon Forbidden West. But that’s not all!

The list is extended further with Gotham Knights, Back 4 Blood, God of War: Ragnarok, Returnal, and GhostWire: Tokyo. Stray, Balan Wonderworld, The Day Before, Glitchpunk, It Takes Two, and Gran Turismo 7 are other anticipated games.

Ubisoft also has significant arrivals this year, just like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla in 2020. Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Quarantine and Skulls & Bones are its upcoming “AAA” titles.

Apart from the releases mentioned above, there are other entries as well. These are STALKER 2, Cyber Shadow, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Bravely Default 2, Psychonauts 2, Riders Republic, and Solar Ash.
