The launch of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is only a few weeks away from now, and fans are excited. The game will let players explore England in the eyes of Evior and the Vikings, but there will be more places to explore in the future.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla tells the tale of Evior’s journey to conquering England. However, there’s more to his journey than meets the eye. Like Watch Dogs Legion. Ubisoft already has a clear plan for the game’s post-launch content, which further expands the base game.
Post-launch content and season pass revealed
A new video from Ubisoft showcases what’s to come after the launch of the game. First, to launch this Spring 2021 is the Wrath of the Druids DLC. This DLC will take players to Ireland as they try to uncover the secrets of an ancient druidic cult. It’s far from what players should expect in the base game.
As per Ubisoft, this Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC takes players through haunted forests and dazzling landscapes. All the while, they’ll have to earn the influence of Gaelic Kings.
Then, launching in Summer 2021 is the Siege of Paris expansion. In this DLC, players will witness the Viking invasion of France in 845 AD.
“During this key moment in history, players will infiltrate the fortified city of Paris and the River Seine under a prolonged siege, uncover enemy secrets, and form strategic alliances to safeguard their clan’s future.” The Siege of Paris expansion, which retells the Viking invasion of France in 845 AD, will follow in the summer of 2021,” says Ubisoft.
Free content
Aside from the DLCs included in the Season Pass, players will be given free content as well. It’s also like what Ubisoft did for Watch Dogs Legion.
All players of the game will get free seasonal content, including new events in-game and new game modes as well. Players will also be able to fit their settlements with new buildings. Each season of the game will last for three months, and the first will arrive this December, so players already have something to look forward to.
Ubisoft has a solid plan for the DLC of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. We will get to see more of this as the release date draws near. The developers already have an expansive list of post-launch content in mind, and fans are hoping to see more in the future. The game launches this November for current and next-gen consoles.
